Historical News Stories

In June 2008, DHIMS was formed as a result of the merging of two program offices under the Military Health System, Office of the Chief Information Officer (Clinical Information Technology Program Office (CITPO) and the Theater Medical Information Program - Joint (TMIP)). CITPO developed and deployed clinical applications (AHLTA) while TMIP developed and/or adapted the solutions to support the Theater clinical business practice.

Releases prior to the merge have been archived below for your reference.
