LOA 4b: Theater Imaging Deployable Tele-Radiological System (DTRS)

Provides healthcare providers supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom access to radiographic images in Theater for tele-radiology and transfer back to definitive care military treatment facilities.

Key Capabilities

  • Serves as the Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS) for Theater
  • Manages images generated from digital x-ray (DX), computed radiography (CR) and computer tomography (CT) in Theater
  • Transfers the images via very small aperture terminal (VSATs) intra-theater and to Landstuhl Regional Medical Center
