The Premier Global Electronic Health Record
AHLTA-Mobile
As the first responder's handheld data capture device, AHLTA-Mobile allows users to immediately document injury, illness and care at the point of injury. It stores medical data until it can be transferred to AHLTA-Theater. AHLTA-Mobile encounters are synchronized with AHLTA-Theater. Once the encounter is signed, information is distributed to the Joint Medical Workstation Theater Medical Data Store, where they can be used to support medical surveillance, and to the Clinical Data Repository, where the information becomes part of the patient's electronic health record. AHLTA-Mobile is a component of the Theater Medical Information Program and records patient's health history, physical exams and disposition in structured medical terms while also permitting free text entry when necessary.
