TMIP Framework

(Formerly Expeditionary Framework or EF)

The TMIP Framework provides a messaging service (or store and forward capability) to DHIMS applications allowing electronic health records and other medical information to be transmitted from the Theater of Operations to CONUS repositories, such as the Joint Medical Workstation, the Theater Medical Data Store, and ultimately the Clinical Data Repository.

The TMIP Framework is designed to work in environments renowned for low or interrupted communications, thereby guaranteeing critical medical data is available to healthcare providers and decision makers.
